Plant the Label!

All of our soap labels are made from seed-embedded lotka paper, which is handcrafted in Nepal. The paper is made from a renewable resource, and is 50% recycled material. The seed paper is biodegradable.

To start indoors: Use the soap box as a seed starting tray!
Place the soap box on a glass or ceramic plate to prevent water leakage. Fill with a seed starting mix, and trim the label paper to fit inside. Cover seed paper with a thin layer of seed starting mix, place near a window, and keep moist. When it's time to transplant, you can either plant the whole tray, or remove plants from the tray.

To start outdoors: Plant the label paper in full sun or part shade, covering with a thin layer of soil. Keep moist.

Your soap label may contain seeds of any of the following varieties:
Roman Chamomile, Red Corn Poppy, Corn Poppy, English Daisy, Spurred Snapdragon, Catchfly, Showy Evening Primrose, Gold Yarrow, Foxglove, Monkeyflower, Tussock Bellflower, White Yarrow, Red Yarrow, Fringed Sagewort, and Creeping Thyme.
